It’s finished, Tableaus for percussion quartet and digital playback is now in the hands of Talujon with a March 17th performance date at Brandeis. This means that part 1 of my 2 part series, “How to Complete A Dissertation Before Funding Runs Out” is finished. Also, I have updated my worx section of the website with a complete listing of most of my music (I guess that would make it incomplete) composed since 2007. In light of my dissertation work, I turned a chapter into a mini-paper that will be presented at the New England Conference of Music Theorists at Connecticut College in the end of April. More details of upcoming events, including engagements with The Gentlemen’s Very High Art Society of South Waltham are included in the events page. I will probably talk more about that on my new tumblr page. That’s right, there is an asylum for lazy bloggers, thanks Tumblr founders.
