Chamber

wltz(loop)frgmnt(s) (for trombone, clarinet/bass clarinet, keyboard (piano, synthesizer), percussion, violin and double bass) (2010). It was composed as part of the Yale School of Music’s Norfolk New Music Workshop. I took the convention of the waltz as a point of departure.

Flux Flummoxed (for piano and violin) (2009). This large-scale multi-movement work was written for two all-time best friends and collaborators of mine: Ben Sung and Jihye Chang. Each movement explores the ideas associated with the scientific term of “flux”. I. Entropic March; II.Momentum perpetuum ; III. Electrstatic; IV. Flux Capacitor.
